My baby, or I guess I should say big, boy is three years old today! Sawyer was born July 7, 2006 at 11:53 pm and weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 19 inches long. I asked him yesterday if he would stay my baby boy forever and not grow up and he said "No, I've got to get big." I'm going to attempt to list 36 things about Sawyer:

  1. He is very sweet and loving, always telling everyone "I love you"
  2. He is allergic 3 D's: dairy, dogs and dust; and cinnamon
  3. He loves tomatoes
  4. He loves strawberries
  5. He likes just about all fruits and vegetables
  6. He's a good sleeper
  7. He has good manners, saying "please" and "thank you" without proding, although you do have remind him to say "ma'am" and "sir"
  8. He is always so appreciative of anything and I mean anything. If I buy him strawberries at the store he'll ask "Did you buy those for me?" and then "Oh, thank you, Mama!"
  9. He loves tractors
  10. He is scared of cows
  11. He is scared of lizards
  12. He loves cats
  13. He loves to take baths/showers
  14. He loves to play in the sprinklers ("sprinklin")
  15. He still sleeps with his blue baby blanket ("blankie")
  16. He loves to talk
  17. He doesn't forget anything
  18. He likes to ride the lawn mower and 4-wheeler with Brock
  19. He plays well by himself
  20. He likes to climb and jump
  21. He likes to get a flashlight and "look for monsters"
  22. He would always rather be outside
  23. He still likes to be rocked and insists on rocking before naps and bedtime
  24. He will only drink the Very Vanilla flavored soy milk
  25. He can hit a t-ball really well
  26. He's left handed
  27. He likes dental floss
  28. He really does love his baby sister
  29. He likes to go fishing but doesn't want to touch the fish
  30. His favorite song is "Jesus Loves Me"
  31. He is friendly and always greets people we see in public
  32. Although he weighs over 30lbs, he can still wear 18-24 month size shorts
  33. He likes to be our "helper boy"
  34. He loves "chocolate cook-lees" (oreos--they surprisingly don't have dairy in them)
  35. He likes to take pictures with my camera
  36. And finally, he is still not completely potty trained

Happy Birthday Sawyer!

I don't even want to think about potty training! I hear so many things...some people say I should have already started and others say to wait!
